NACP Celebrates its 45th annivesary with parade float

In July we celebrated NACP 45th anniversary by entering a float in the Sheridan WYO Rodeo Parade.  Our director, co-teacher, board members and their families all helped to make this a wonderful opportunity to showcase the school to our local community.  Everyone had a great time!

Car Wash fundraiser, Saturday, June 14th, 10am-2pm. 

Come to Let'er Buck Carwash this Saturday to get your car clean and support our preschool at the same time!  Donations are welcome!

March Activities

March has been a busy month! We talked about dental health and played with plant eating dinosaurs.  We have been working on our letters and numbers, and learning how to write our names and preparing for kindergarten readiness. ​
​We are so thankful for all the wonderful parents and families we have here at Noah's Ark Christian Preschool. This week we had pastries to show our appreciation!

NACP Wins Second Place at Valor Barn Dance & Chili Contest!

On Feb 20th, Noah's Ark Christian Preschool  participated in the Valor Community Barn Dance and Chili Contest.  Board member, Molly Hollon, cooked a giant batch of delicious chili that was named GODzilla Chili by our preschool children.  Board member, Jessica Neau, helped with set-up and provided a basket filled with special NACP oyster crackers; and board member, Natalie Carlton, created a sign for our table and helped serve the chili with Molly.  Our director/teacher, Janine Demple, was on hand to help, as well as our assistant teacher, Jessica Martin, who joined in the fun by providing custom made aprons for board members to wear.  The event was a blast!  NACP won 2nd place in the contest, receiving $75 in Sheridan Chamber Bucks! Thanks so much for everyone's participation and support!
Board members, Molly Hollon and Jessica Neau helped get the word out this weekend about upcoming enrollment in March.  A basket was raffled off during Valor Academy's drama performance at the WYO theater.  The winner received some fun indoor treats and activities along with a gift card to Kid Curious.

Bible verses & Snowmen crafts

Children worked on building their own snowmen on display on the main bulletin board at school this past month.  The lesson incorporated crafting skills with a lesson on Psalm 123.  Every 1-2 weeks the children learn a new Bible verse to take home and paste into their personal Bible verse booklet so that they can share the teachings with their families. 

Groundhog Day Fun!

This week we learned about groundhogs day and made our own shadows! We made groundhogs with shadows and used a lamp to project our shadows on the wall! We saw what happens when the light is close to us and if the light is far away!

We send out a heartfelt thank you to all who worked so hard to make our fall fundraiser a  huge success!  We nearly doubled our $2500 goal bringing in over $4800!

NACP ANnual Playground cleanup

Board members and their families worked hard in August to get our wonderful playground ready for the upcoming school year.  Weeds were pulled, gravel turned, everything looked fresh and spiffy. Great work! Your time and effort are very much appreciated!
